When Bill Belichick left the Jets after one day on the job to coach the Patriots those who wondered about ethics in sports raised an eyebrow.

This man after all had not just taken a job, he had signed a contract to coach the Jets.

And the Jets, in good faith, made this man their head coach.

However, Bill Belichick proved he would do whatever it would take to win, and as it turns out, that includes coaching in an organization that will do anything to win, including cheat.

And as long as leading “sports commentators” like Bill Simmons and their defenders excuse the cheating because they think “all teams do it” corruption and cheating will remain rife in sports.

The court decision which cleared Tom Brady to play and removed his suspension did not exonerate him of cheating, it actually was about the process the NFL employs to discipline players.

The NFL themselves didn’t follow their own rules in disciplining Tom Brady.

And in the United States, the form and process is important to the outcome, indeed it’s critical.

Thus there is no final ruling on the Patriots cheating scandal, in essence the court decision holds that a corrupt organization that doesn’t follow its own rules is in no position to judge another corrupt organization.

It’s clear that the entire NFL needs a housecleaning, from top to bottom, including removing Roger Goodell as commissioner.

Tom Brady’s “Win” Is Not A Win For Sports.
